2005 National Reunion of Adopted Romanian Children
  
  • When you access the hotel's site through the link below, you will notice the dates are longer than the dates of the Reunion. The dates posted are the extended days Reunion attendees will be able to take advantage of the Reunion rates, if you want to come early or stay later. NOTE: If you are having trouble registering for a room and need a password use "F28E3". This apparently depends on your web-browser.
  • Rooms are $95/night which doesn't include tax, currently 9%.
  • Roll-a-way beds are $15/night, plus tax and need to be reserved in advance. There is a limited supply.
  • Portable cribs are complimentary, but in limited supply and need to be reserved in advance.
  • In rooms with 2 beds, the beds are doubles, not queens. NOTE: If families with just 3 people will take the king-bed rooms with the pull-out sofa (hide-a-bed) we have a good chance of all being in the same section of the hotel!
  • Anyone who wants to bring an RV can park free, unless you want electrical hook ups. Hook ups are $25.00/night and you need to make those arrangements with the hotel. Water and sewer hook ups aren't available. They can accomodate approximately 4 RV's.
  • The hotel is also donating $5.00 for each room booked under the Reunion reservations to help cover Reunion expenses.
  • The Sheraton is located 4 miles from the Burlington airport and offers free shuttle service. It is right off I-89 and offers free parking.

INFORMATION ON EXHIBITING AT THE 2005 NATIONAL REUNION OF ADOPTED ROMANIAN CHILDREN
Exhibition Date: July 16th, 2005 hours: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Location: Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center, 870 Williston Rd., So. Burlington, Vt. 05403 802-865-6638

Reunion Participants include adoptive families, as well as adoption professionals. Attendance is anticipated to be well over 100 families from the Romanian adoption community.

Exhibit Space: Each space includes a 6' by 30" skirted table, and 1-2 folding chairs. Also included is speaker registration for 1 person (including a box lunch), exhibitor badge. Exhibitor space is assigned by the Reunion staff on a first come, first served basis. There are no pipe and drape backdrops in the exhibit area, but you are welcome to bring your own backdrops and signs. Due to hotel regulations, nothing will be allowed to be attached to the walls. The Exhibit area is located adjacent to the main speaker areas.

Assemblage and Removal: Exhibit displays may be set up Saturday morning, July 16th betweem 7:00am and 8:30am. When Exhibits are open, someone should be present at the display.
Electrical requirements: If you need electricity, The Sheraton must be contacted in advance for these arrangements.

INFORMATION ON EXHIBITING AT THE
2005 NATIONAL REUNION OF ADOPTED ROMANIAN CHILDREN
Registration: Please use the form on previous page to register for this event. Please respond no later than May 15th, 2005. Registration MAY be allowed after that date, but only if space is still available. No cancellations will be accepted after June 1, 2005. Checks and/or purchase orders should be made payable to : RARC (please indicate "exhibit" on check). A conference registration form should also be completed for our records.

Lodging: Lodging is at the exhibitor's expense and may be reserved by contacting the Sheraon Hotel & Conference Center at 802-865-6638. Please inform the hotel reservation host that you are with the Romanian Reunion to receive the group rate.

Exhibitor Participation: To assure exposure to the greatest number of Reunion participants, please make sure to be present during all open exhibit times. Breaks will be held in the vicinity of the exhibit area. Sponsoring a snack break is also a great way to increase your visibility.

Lilly Pierce has very generously donated 5 Annual Hummel Plates by Goebel. Pictured above is just one of them. They are for the years 1971- Heavenly Angel, 1972 -Hear Ye, Hear Ye, 973- Globe Trotter, 1983- Postman, and 1985-Chick Girl. They are absolutely gorgeous, and come in their original boxes.
We will raffle the plates individually, with tickets at $2.00 each, or a book of 6 for $10.00.
People may buy raffle tickets online by e-mailing us at adoptionemb@kingcon.com , or dail49@charter.net and telling us how many tickets they are purchasing, and for which plate. They can use paypal to send payment, using the same e-mail address. We will fill out their raffle
tickets and send them a receipt. Tickets will also be available at the Reunion. Drawing will be at the banquet, on Saturday, July 16th, 2005.
