Since 1991, the Reunion of Adopted Romanian Children (RARC) has grown and broadened it's original purpose of family networking to become a vital resource for information on adoption, medical, health and educational issues. Every two years the National Reunion is held in a different part of the country in order to reach families who cannot afford to travel. RARC is founded and operated by volunteers. It is registered as a nonprofit organization in the state of Oregon.
The mission of RARC is to provide education and social forums about the needs, challenges and heritage of our adopted children. The Reunion is also a wonderful event to network with other families, make new friends and see familiar faces. The only way this wonderful event can continue is for one of YOU to step forward and volunteer to host the next Reunion in 2007 in your "neck of the woods." Won't you give this rewarding opportunity some serious consideration? You will have the willing support of all the previous hosts to help you along. All it takes is to contact the current hosts to get the ball rolling.
Some our children are teens now. For the first time, a teen dance is on the agenda.
